Introduction to javascript

Javascript is a lightweight, cross-platform, object-oriented computer programming language, it was created in 1995 and was first used for add dynamic effects on web page. Javascript can be used directly in your browser but thanks to Node.js can be used with a server, Javascript evolves and today it's main utilization is for create modern web applications with framework, libraries like ReactJs, AngularJs, VueJs etc..

Javascript in the web-development world

When you talk about front-end development there are three main languages Html, Css and javascript let's see what they are used for

HTML

The Html language is used for display the content, structure of your web page it's a tag languages, you can visualize Html in the real world like a nouns for example a paragraph.

CSS

Css is a cascade stylesheets language it's used for presentation with that you can give style to your page like color, background, alignment content etc.. If you use the same example than above Css will be the adjectives.

JAVASCRIPT

Finally Javascript is used for add effects on your web pages like hide a piece of content, move a block etc.. Now javascript is used for create complex web applications but we won't see that for now.
